SPRVILLN “CEASE AND DESIST” SWEEPSTAKES
Official Rules & Terms of Engagement
1. SPONSOR
The Cease and Desist Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by SPRVILLN (“Sponsor”), a rogue creative insurgency operating at the intersection of culture, commerce, and confrontation.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Open to legal residents of jurisdictions where such promotions are permitted. Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, affiliates, legal counsel, and anyone actively preparing a cease-and-desist letter against SPRVILLN are not eligible.
3. HOW TO ENTER (PURCHASE METHOD)
No purchase necessary to enter or win.
Each purchaser of SPRVILLN Drop #004: Ethical Difficulties is invited to submit one (1) prediction consisting of:
- The exact date and time (to the minute, Eastern Time) that SPRVILLN receives a formal legal threat from either:
- CNN
- Fox News
A “formal legal threat” is defined as a written cease-and-desist letter, legal notice, or equivalent communication issued by legal counsel or an authorized representative.
Entries must be submitted through the official method designated by SPRVILLN at the time of purchase.
Limit: One (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry.
3A. ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY (AMOE – NO PURCHASE NECESSARY)
For those who prefer participation without acquisition.
To enter without making a purchase, participants may submit a handwritten entry by mail including:
- Full legal name
- Valid email address
- Phone number (optional, but recommended)
- A clearly written prediction of the exact date and time (to the minute, Eastern Time) that SPRVILLN will receive a qualifying legal threat

All mail-in entries must be postmarked by the end of the Sweepstakes Entry Period and received within a reasonable processing window as determined by SPRVILLN.
Limit: One (1) mail-in entry per person.
Mail-in entries carry equal odds of winning as purchase entries.
4. ENTRY PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins at the official launch of Drop #004 and ends at the earlier of:
- The moment a qualifying legal threat is received, or
- A date determined by SPRVILLN at its sole discretion
5. THE PRIZE
One (1) prize will be awarded:
- $1,000 USD (cash)
No substitution, transfer, or exchange except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
6. WINNER DETERMINATION
Primary Condition
The winner will be the entrant who most accurately predicts the exact date and time of the first qualifying legal threat.
Tie Scenario
If multiple entrants submit the exact same correct date and time, the $1,000 prize will be:
Divided evenly among all such entrants
7. NO-TRIGGER OUTCOME (CHARITABLE REDIRECT)
If no qualifying legal threat is received during the Sweepstakes period:
- The full $1,000 prize will be donated to a charitable organization selected by SPRVILLN supporting victims of real-world tragedies currently being commodified by prediction markets and financial speculation.
8. ODDS OF WINNING
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
9. DISQUALIFICATION CONDITIONS
SPRVILLN reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
- Attempts to manipulate, fabricate, or induce a legal threat
- Submits multiple entries under different identities
- Fails to comply with these Official Rules
10. WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION
Potential winners will be contacted via the information provided at entry.
Winner may be required to:
- Verify identity and eligibility
- Complete and return any required documentation
Failure to respond within a reasonable time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
11. TAXES
Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Sponsor may issue appropriate tax documentation, including IRS Form 1099 where required.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, participants agree that Sponsor is not responsible for:
- Lost, late, misdirected, or delayed entries
- Technical or postal failures
- The timing, absence, or existence of any legal action
This Sweepstakes exists as both a promotional mechanism and a satirical commentary on modern media systems.
13. PUBLICITY
By entering, participants grant SPRVILLN the right to use their name, entry, and likeness for promotional, editorial, or archival purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
14. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if necessary due to fraud, technical failure, legal risk, or any factor beyond its control.
All decisions by SPRVILLN are final and binding.
15. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED
This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
16. CLOSING STATEMENT
You are not predicting if something will happen.
You are predicting when the system reacts to being exposed.
